Spring Park Clean-Up sponsored by the Germantown Park & Recreation Department.  This is an opportunity for community members to volunteer in a community wide effort to clean-up the parks.  Work will include picking up litter, mulching planting beds, planting flowers, and overall beautification of the parks.  Free  -  pre-registration is required:  After the clean-up all participants are invited to a thank you lunch at Kinderberg Park, beginning at 12:30pm.   For more information, contact the Germantown Park & Rec Department at 262-250-4710.

Monday, May 31, 2010,  MEMORIAL DAY

10:00am Visitation of six Germantown cemeteries

11:45am Veteran's Memorial, 12:00noon Flag Disposal Service

After visiting area cemeteries, the group will arrive at the Veterans Memorial located at the corner of Park Avenue and Freistadt Road, Germantown.   There will be a reading of the names of Veterans who have been added to the memorial.  Following the reading there will be a Flag Disposal Service,  After which a pot luck lunch will be held at the American Legion Hall across the street on Freistadt Road.  Everyone is welcome.
